USDA Rural Development

USDA Rural Development works to eliminate substandard housing from rural America by helping rural people buy, build or rent decent housing. In a typical year, Rural Development programs create or preserve more than 150,000 rural jobs, enable 40,000 to 50,000 rural Americans to buy homes and help 450,000 low-income rural people rent apartments or other housing.  www.rurdev.usda.gov

The Federation of Appalachian Housing Enterprises (FAHE)

The West Virginia Affordable Housing Trust Fund (WVAHTF)

The Randolph County Housing Authority (RCHA)

For over 25 years, the RCHA has worked to secure the housing needs of those throughout North Central West Virginia by making rental housing affordable, promoting homeownership, constructing quality, affordable homes, investing in the job skills of youth, and participating in community development efforts.  www.rchawv.org

The HomeOwnership Center, Inc.  (HOC)

The HomeOwnership Center is a consumer friendly vehicle for providing training, counseling and financing to low-to-moderate income families and first-time homebuyers, as well as a source of continuing support for existing homeowners. www.hocwv.org
